Terms & Conditions

Weight of your ring/item
All rings start at the weight listed on the web site and will vary slightly in weight with the design, pattern and finishing required.

Appearance of your ring/item
Goldfinger make all their own rings in their workshops and sometimes they will differ slightly from the picture on the web site, i.e. Roman Numerals, word rings, these are all hand done by our hand engraver and he writes on your ring with a small engraving tool so each one will be slightly different in word style and spacing depending on your length of message and number of Roman Numerals.
If you are not satisfied with your ring please contact us.

Prices on the web site
Goldfinger have to continually update their prices due to the fluctuation in the prices of precious metals and diamonds etc.  Should we sell something to you at the wrong price due to human error we reserve the right to withdraw the order and discuss the new price with you.  Equally if we find that we have put in a higher price we will contact you to arrange a refund.

Goldfinger will always offer you a top quality ring at a manufacturer’s price and make sure that our diamonds really are the colour and clarity that we state and that our rings are of such a weight that they will last you a life time, the only exception to this is the light weight plain range which is for those people where price is the most important criteria and not the quantity of the metal.

Returns
In the unlikely event that you do not like your ring or item of jewellery (with or without engraving inside ) we offer a full refund if you contact us within 7 days of receipt of the ring/item of jewellery and return the ring/item of jewellery within 14 days in the same condition as you received it in untouched by a third party.  Earrings are the only exclusion to this policy please call Goldfinger to discuss your options.  All rings need to be returned at your expense in a padded envelope via Special Delivery and insured for the value of the ring.   We will not offer a refund if we feel that you have ordered two rings to decide which is  your favourite design.  All refunds will be given once the ring/item has been received and checked by Goldfinger.  

Bespoke rings can be changed/returned subject to Goldfinger’s agreement but some costs might be charged.  We are always happy to discuss your design and will re use the metal and diamonds and only add a charge for the extra labour involved if you want to change your design.      

Goldfinger will not refund any shipping costs.
If you change your mind on your design please call us as soon as possible.

Sizing
If you need your ring sized please return the ring in a padded envelope to our P O Box 740, Horsham, West Sussex, RH13 9YU address via special delivery and you should insure the ring for its full value with your name, address and telephone number and we will call you to discuss your sizing requirements and any costs that might incur.  Goldfinger have been manufacturing rings for a very long time and can size 99.9% of rings but the most difficult rings are full diamond eternity rings and these rings can cost around £80 to £100 depending on how many diamonds we need to add to size your ring.  We can also just add a plain piece of metal if you wish to keep the costs down on sizing your full eternity ring.  Always call us to discuss your options.

Christmas Presents
If you are buying your jewellery for a Christmas present please let us know and we will extend our returns policy until the end of January.

Quality of our Items
All our rings are covered for the first 12 months but our manufacturing quality is covered for life and should you have a problem please contact us.  Our diamond setters have many years of experience and Goldfinger will cover all our set diamonds for 4 months.  If you ever do need a diamond replaced please contact us for a price.  All precious metals are soft and scratches are not a fault and will be down to the wearer but we are always happy to re polish and re rhodium your rings for you at a small charge.  

Insurance
You will receive a Sales Invoice for your purchase but if you require an Insurance Valuation please let us know when you are placing your order as there is a small charge for this.  Because you are buying your item at a manufacturer’s price your Insurance Valuation will be higher to represent a shop purchase price.  

We do recommend that you insure all your jewellery.

Hallmarking
All our jewellery is hallmarked by the British Assay Office.  All our diamonds over 40ct come with a Diamond Certificate from Internationally recognised laboratories. We can get any size Diamond certified but we are charged for this and would have to pass on these charges.

Sample Rings
Sample rings are just on loan and we would ask for all rings to be returned within 7 days with a valid Royal Mail tracking number.  If you do not return these sample rings we will ask you to pay for them in full i.e. labour involved and cost of metals, if you do not pay this charge we will have to unfortunately take you to County Court.

Delivery and ownership of goods
All our items will be delivered by Special Delivery (Royal Mail) and will have to be signed for.  All items will remain our responsibility until they are signed for and we will not be responsible if the parcel is signed for by someone else but we will help you to recover the item wherever possible.  If possible the customer will be sent a text to inform him/her that they will receive their item the following day by 1pm, the customer will have to sign for this item.  All parcels will be sent to the card holder’s address.  If you have paid by bank transfer or cheque you can stipulate a different address once the money has cleared.  Goldfinger will try and meet delivery dates but sometimes rings take longer to make, or get assayed and we reserve the right to take longer than stipulated on the web site, HOWEVER NO WEDDING DATE WILL EVER BE MISSED.   PLEASE SEND ANY ITEMS BACK BY SPECIAL DELIVERY AND INSURE THEM FOR THE FULL COST OF THE ITEMS.

Home Service Customers only

Once the order form has been signed and money taken for confirmation of your order should a customer change their mind and decide not to buy their rings from Goldfinger the deposit will be returned if the rings have not been manufactured less a £50.00 charge to cover Goldfinger’s administration costs, bank charges and the cost of the refund.

DO NOT USE RECORDED DELIVERY AS NO ITEM IS INSURED.  IF YOU USE RECORDED DELIVERY NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

ALL ITEMS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF GOLDFINGER RINGS UNTIL THEY ARE PAID FOR IN FULL.

No rings will be sent out without full payment being received.
Should payment not be received we reserve the right to take the person to County Court to reclaim our property.  However if you have a problem paying for your item please contact us to discuss your circumstances.


Refunds will be made the same way as the payment.
